Kromdraai gold mine

The Kromdraai Gold Mine is one of the first gold mines on the Witwatersrand. The Witwatersrand is the 280 km long gold reef rich in gold which gave birth to Johannesburg, and produced some 40% of the gold ever mined on earth.
